Bais

The Bais Rajputs, also referred to as Bhains Rajputs in certain regions, are a powerful and ancient Rajput clan. Known for their wealth, warrior spirit, entrepreneurial skills, and status as zamindars (landowners), the Bais claim descent from Lakshmana, the brother of Lord Rama. The Bais Rajputs have earned a strong reputation as formidable warriors, renowned for their ability to maintain control over their empires and vast territories.

Historically, the Bais ruled several princely states in northern India, including Oudh, Lucknow, and Sialkot, where they held substantial land holdings and exercised significant influence. Their legacy as warriors and landowners continues to be an integral part of their identity.
