Bisen
The Bisen dynasty (also spelled Visen) is an ancient Hindu Kshatriya lineage tracing its ancestry to Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Ram, and his son Chandraketu, who was a ruler in present-day Karnataka. In North India, their prominent royal seat was Majhouli Raj (Deoria), formerly known as Mall Mahajanapada, founded by King Prithvi Mall, one of the most powerful rulers of this dynasty around 1500 years ago.
